Penquin Pals

With Annette

Penguin P.A.L.S (Play and Learn Socialise) is a exciting opportunity for little ones and their parents/guardian to enjoy playing and learning and socialising in a fun, safe, interesting and entertaining environment. We offer; Messy Play, Food Fun, Arts & Crafts, Toys, Soft Play, Bouncy Castle, Ball Pits, Dressing up, Play & Learn and Climbing Frame


Tues & Thurs from 10am

Come along to our cafe and meet other parents for a cuppa and a chat, while the children play


Monday-Friday from 9am

After School Sports

With Sportfit Cardiff

Classes run every weekday evening and Saturday mornings.  Sports include Football, Dance, Gymnastics, Cheerleading, Girls Football, Trampoline and Netball


Weekdays from 4pm & 5pm

Tiny Toes Ballet

With Lauren Yeates-Mayo

Tiny toes ballet is the only pre-school ballet programme in the UK that is fully integrated with the EYFS curriculum, having been founded and developed by not only a Professionally trained Classical Ballet Dancer and Qualified Ballet teacher but also a highly experienced Primary School Teacher.


Our Award-Winning Programme offers classes for babies and children from 6 months- 7 years old.


Tuesdays 10am, 1pm, 4pm & 5pm

FITNESS AND WELLBEING

Zumba

With Lisa Verallo

It's a total body workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility. It takes the 'work' out of workout by Zumba by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party.


Wednesday's at 8pm

Yoga

With Christine Henderson

A small, friendly, relaxing, traditional Rishiculture Ashtanga yoga class. Classes are suitable for all with a theme of Spandha-nishpandha (recognising tension and releasing into non-tension) – starting in a sitting position we bring the mind to the breath (Pranayama) - to focus the mind.


Monday at 6pm, Thursday at 7pm

Be Fit 4 Seniors

With Maggie Beacher

The class is for elderly people who have walking difficulties, unsteady on their feet or who have never exercised and just want to tone up. It’s all about falls prevention and trying to keep old people away from hospitals after falling. It is supported by the Cardiff and Vale Public Health Team. The class is nearly an hour long and a serious chair based exercise session.

Trampoline

With Cardiff Flyers Trampoline Club

Cardiff Flyers are a new club based at the heart of Wales, started by a group of passionate coaches and performers to make trampolining accessible to all. We strongly believe trampolining is a fun sport that everyone should have the chance to experience and enjoy as much as we do. We provide classes, training for officials and coaches, and a welcoming space for development.

Fitness & Fun

With Claire Layton

A fitness class to improve your heart and lung efficiency through easy to follow routines, muscular strength and endurance with toning exercises and ending with stretches to improve flexibility. Balance and co-ordination are also incorporated.


Monday's 10am & 11am, Wednesday 12:30pm and Friday's 10:15am & 11:30am

Ty Celyn over 55 Fitness


A typical hour session consists of General warm up, jogging, press ups, squat thrusts, stomach core excercises, ball games and mini circuit training. Spaces are limited to around 12 in total. Contact Brian Pritchard - 07970 040 688

Flower Arranging

Our friendly Flower arranging group meet every other

week to get together and share skills and tips to help

each other learn more about your hobby.


Every other Wednesday 1pm

Community Garden Group


Our Community Garden group meet every Saturday to tend to our allotment at the rear of the centre as well as tend to our Community Garden.  We are also creating a wildlife garden and woodland walkway
